Two persons were arrested on Friday afternoon at nick of jummah prayers for attempting to perform rituals at the Tuutingli cemetery.
They were Ibrahim Adams age 22, Baba Mohammed age 21 were arrested by residents when they attempted to bury rituals on a grave in the cemetery.Among the items found in the rituals were goat meat, egg, red cola nut with inserted needles and charcoal, all these items were covered with red materials
But for the vigilance of residents in the area these guys were arrested and sent to Tuutingli Zoo Naa palace for interrogations.
Ibrahim Adams who is not a native of Tamale and was led by Baba Mohammed who happens to be a native narrated that he was performing the rituals against long time illness he has been battling with following a spiritual consultation with a Mallam around Tamale Girls Senior High School.
